Are you an Infinite or, a Finite player?

Simon Sinek, a well known speaker on the world stage, talks about this concept & describes the scenario that an Infinite player cannot possible compete against a Finite player in war. A player who has #infinite will, resources & time frame cannot win against a finite player who doesn’t have these characteristics.

The Infinite player just keeps #trying and #trying and #trying...

We are not going to war & may not be involved in competition at all. However, it is interesting analogy and so often we have been taught that our goals should have a time frame, when perhaps we will be more successful if we didn’t.

Can time frames cause us to stop trying when the deadline looms or passes? Perhaps other motivators that create #drive, #focus & #urgency, will create better results.
